ST.Wilfred's College of Law was established in the year 2003 with a vision and mission to produce professionally competent lawyers of high caliber for active practice and to place highly skilled law graduates to suit the needs of the corporate and modern growing society. St Wilfred’s College of Law aims at maintaining a high academic standard to equip the students with a profound knowledge of law and to make them think in terms of achieving great heights in the realm of law by inculcating creativity and analytical bent of mind. The institute has been established with the aim to add new dimension & opportunity to the students to strengthen the spirit of Unity, harmony and leadership quality among all. The college is a self financing institution affiliated to the University of Rajasthan and recognized by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi.

Thus legal education being necessary for everybody. St. Wilfred's Education Society established the St. Wilfred's College of Law with a sheer object to prove itself an ideal institution of imparting legal education in the year 2003.

I trust that our faculty members have always maintained the highest academic standards. Due to the honesty and sincerity of the faculty members, the students will prove themselves to be the good lawyers, judges to lead legal education in the society as well as in the nation. Besides this the practical training is also given by organizing Moot Court, court visit etc. Besides legal education, innumerable extra co curricular activities are conducted regularly to develop all aspects of student's personality.

I hope St Wilfred's College of Law will prove center point of legal education by active participation of the students, my colleague and other legal educationists i.e. eminent lawyers, Judges etc.

Eligibility Criteria for Admission (Rajasthan and Outside Rajasthan Students:

  1. For LL.B.(Three Year Course) Passed Graduation with Minimum 45% (for General Category )& Passed Graduation with Minimum 40%(for SC, ST & OBC Category)

  2. For B.A LL.B (Five Year Integrated Course )Passed 10 +2 with minimum 50% (for General & OBC Category ) and Passed 10 +2 with Minimum 45% (for SC, ST ) Age for B.A LL.B (Five year course) Maximum 21 Year as on 1st July 2015


General Rules:

  1. The candidate shall apply for admission in LL.B. First year on the prescribed from and may be required to appear at his own expenses for interview before the principal.
  2.  Admission of a student to the college shall be subject to the conditions prescribed by the Ordinance / Rules of the University of Rajasthan and Bar Council of India.
  3. At the time of submitting the application form the applicant must furnish his T.C. Original and attested copies of all documents i.e. marks sheet and certificates from secondary examination to qualifying examination. The original must be produced for verification at the time of admission.
  4. Acceptance of application from does not guarantee admission. Admission will be made strictly on the merit basis i.e. on the basis of marks obtain at the qualifying examinations.
  5. All application forms will be received at the college applications of candidates who do not fulfill the minimum conditions of eligibility and incomplete admission forms will not be entertained. Forms sent through post will not be acknowledged.

  7. Four Passport photographs for identity card/library card.
  8. Photostate of original mark sheet of qualifying exams.
  9. Photostate of birth certificate.
  10. Original Transfer certificate & Character certificate.
  11. Photostate of caste certificate in case of SC/ST/OBC.Original migration certificate, original mark sheet of qualifying exams, original caste certificate & birth certificate in case of fresh enrolment in University of Rajasthan (If passed from other Board/University)
  12. The original fee receipt should be kept intact till the end of the course.

Moot court is a law college activity and competition during which students participate in the preparation and arguing of cases in front of judges. Moot court and National Moot court competition are organized in the college at regular intervals to enhance the confidence and inculcate the habit of self study.


A Mock parliament is a simulation of the parliamentary proceedings of a legislature or other deliberative assembly. Mock Parliaments are usually held as an educational tool to promote understanding of the working of government.


For the practical knowledge of the students, court visits are organized by the college where the students visit the various courts and see the trials being completed in the court.


Apart from theoretical knowledge a student are made familiar through seminars about the international human rights, banking law, widen the perspective and enables them to understand and evaluate problematic issues and also find answer to these issues.


Open jail visit is conducted time to time to make the students aware of the conditions of the prisoners.


Keeping in mind the requirement for strong positive arguing skills in law, debate competition are crucial for law students. The college has a debating and elocution society for this purpose. The society organizes various debating, elocution and declamation competition.

Activities (Seminar, Tour, Guest Lecturers) 

  1. Seminar Organized on ‘Domestic Violence & Preventive Laws ‘held in the Law College on 2006.

  2. National seminar on ‘Plea Bargaining; In Criminal Justice System held in the law college auditorium on 2011.

  3. A model moot court conducted every year by the students on different cases.

  4. Legal literacy camp organized every year by college management. All students of Law College, staff, advocates, member of the judiciary & local people participate in the camp.

Facilities(Lab.,Industrial Tour,Research Projects)

  1. COMPUTER LAB: A well developed computer lab and e-library maintained by the college. It is proposed to start computer training for the students to train them to operate computers in legal matters, internet connection for consultation of law libraries of various institutions.

  2. HOSTEL FACITILTY: The St.Wilfreds College of Law provides accommodation for male & female students of the college, at the Hostel, which is situated in the campus. Such accommodation is provided strictly on the basis of merit.

    BANKING FACILITIES: For the convenience of the students there is an extension counter of Integral Urban Co-operative Bank in the premises of the College.

  1. AUDITORIUM: A fully air - conditioned huge auditorium which has capacity to accommodate a large number of audience. 

  2. GYMNASIUM: To keep the mind and body fit, a gym with modern equipments is available for the students.


  1. PLACEMENT: The St.Wilfred’s College of law has a centralized strong “Placement Cell “which arranges campus recruitment for the student of the Colleges from time to time. They can find employment in various courts of law, in government service both Central and State government, as teachers, as legal advisors in various companies, business houses, organizations etc. They also do private practice as legal advisor, advocates, solicitors etc. The Placement Cell promotes students interests providing them opportunities to work with leading Law Firms, Lawyers, NGOs & the Corporate World.
